Tech & Documents

All Services are available to the public. No library card required

Printing

The public can print black and white documents from one of our computers or email black and white plus color documents to printing@buenavistalibrary.org

Black & white prints are $.10 per printed page.
Color prints are $.75 per printed page.

Only Cash or Checks accepted. 

Copies

A self serve coin and bill operated copy machine is available for use.

Scanning 

Documents can be scanned and save to an external thumb drives or emailed using our copier for free. 

64 GB thumb drives are available for purchased with cash for $5.00.

Only Cash or Checks accepted.

Public Computers

Users will be limited to 60 mins which can be extended in 30 min increments if no other patrons are waiting.

Computer data is wiped clean between users.

Notary

Notary services are available to the public at the Library for free.

Tech Help

The library offers free tech help for everyday needs—using computers, smartphones, tablets, email, downloading apps, and navigating online services.

 

Free Wi-Fi

Join the free “library” network with your laptop, smartphone, or tablet. No password or library card required.

Available during normal Buena Vista Library hours.

Public Computers

Time Limits

Users will be limited to 30 mins which can be extended in 10 min increments if no other patrons are waiting. To request additional time, prior to the end of the 30 mins notifying a staff member at the Circulation Desk. Please provide the number of the computer terminal, located on the upper right corner of the computer monitor.

Personal Information

The computers are cleaned and rebooted completely after every session.
Documents should be stored to a location other than the public computers because all documents are permanently deleted after ending a session. Flash drives are available for purchase at the Circulation Desk, $5 for a 64 gb drive.

The following can be found on all computers: Windows 10, Edge, Firefox, Chrome, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint), Windows Media Player, VLC, and more.
