Toddlers learn by moving, so help your little ones develop balance, strength, and agility in this diverse class! Children, ages 2-5, and caregivers experience a variety of dance and movement skills together in this class taught by Laura Althoff from Minds in Motion.
Research shows that reading to dogs can boost literacy skills in children while also developing social and emotional skills. That’s why at the BVPL, we have friendly dogs that will sit with people, one-on-one, while they read. Any reading level or age is welcome. Reading times are assigned 15-minute blocks. Sign up at the library.
Participants gain an introduction to basic photography skills in this 7-part class. Practice capturing images of the local area during walking trips to McPhelemy Park, downtown/ main street Buena Vista, and Columbine Park. This class is full.
