
2023 Summer Reading
The Oceans of Possibilities Summer Reading Challenge invites people of all ages to read, complete activities and earn prizes from June 1st through July 31st. Attend amazing events all summer, including a free movie and games night at the Comanche Drive-In on July 28th.
Once registered, come to the library to pick up a Youth, Teen, or Adult Summer Reading Log, starting on June 1st. Turn in logs by August 1 to claim rewards or, for adults, enter raffles from our wonderful community sponsors (while supplies last).
Age Categories:
Early Reader: Designed for adults reading to very young children. Select a free book and literacy kit after registering. Read for 15 minutes and choose one other early literacy practice to complete for 40 days. Turn in the log by August 1 and receive a voucher for a free stuffed animal from Sundance & Friends.
Youth: Kindergarten through 6th grade. Select a free book and pick up a coupon for free ice cream from K’s Dairy Delite after registering. Choose one to four puzzle challenges to complete and earn a prize for each.
Teen: Select a free book and pick up a coupon for free ice cream from K’s Dairy Delite after registering. Earn up to four prizes for each challenge completed.
Adults: Pick up a log book, complete the challenges and earn a finisher prize as well as enter a raffle for one of our gifts from local sponsors.
