The Northern Chaffee County Library District is governed by its board of trustees. Trustees are nominated based on application of interest and approved by the Chaffee County Board of Commissioners. Trustee terms are for three years; trustees may sit for two terms.

Board Meetings are bimonthly at the Library.  Meetings are open to the public.  Public comment is allowed during assigned time on the agenda and for no more than five minutes per guest.
