From meditation to art gallery displays, we host a variety of programs that the community can appreciate and enjoy.

Learn the Eight Dimensions of Wellness with FREE classes at BVPL

Starting this March the Buena Vista Public Library will host a different class each month on the Eight Dimensions of Wellness.  We will have books displayed  and information on digital resources related to each month’s wellness.

May’s Eight Dimensions of Wellness is Emotional Wellness

Saturday May 18th from 1-3 pm

Please join us for a free class at the Buena Vista Public Library to learn about Emotional Wellness with Sarah Green, Family Coordinator from FYI Chaffee (Family and Youth Initiatives).

Graham’s Jams

Join our Starter Guitar Class lead by Graham “The Music Man” Yeiser. Now every Friday! Beginner’s Class and Jam Session (for more advanced players) will alternate Fridays. We have guitars available or bring your own.  Don’t miss out on this free class!

Community READ Kick Off, May 31st from 4-7 pm

This is your first chance to pick up this year’s Community READ book: Long Way Gone by Charles Martin. We will have live music, games, refreshments and more. Including the first day of a week long Photography Scavenger Hunt.  Team up with your friends for a chance to win some amazing prizes!

Monday Movement – Qigong

Monday Movement

Qigong (pronounced: “chee gong”) involves coordinated, slow flowing movement, deep rhythmic breathing, and a calm meditative state of mind. Each weekly class will include new exercises aimed at increasing flexibility and energy. The instructor is John Candea with ThresholdSeminars.com
