Lawn games start at 8:00 p.m., with star viewing beginning around 9:30 p.m. Depending on weather, Colorado Springs Astronomical Society will give a laser tour of the night sky followed by time to observe constellations and planets through telescopes. Please bring warm clothes, blankets, chairs, and water. Red light flashlights are encouraged, and attendees are welcome to bring their own telescopes.

• Prepare to arrive before sunset, as headlights disrupt star viewing and the presentation. Parking is limited and carpooling is encouraged.
• The location will be dark and will require walking on uneven ground.
• Portable toilets will be available.
• All participants are expected to be respectful of private property and stay in designated areas.
• Children must be accompanied by adults at all times.
• In an effort to preserve the night vision of other participants, please only use red flashlights sparingly when around the telescopes and pointed down.
• Keep food and drink away from the equipment.
• Always ask before touching any of the equipment.
